Built and led by Cole Rogers, C&C Editions is devoted to traditional fine art printmaking  including etching, lithography, screen printing and woodcut. The studio is located in the LynLake neighborhood of Minneapolis.

Cole Rogers
Director & Master Printer

Prior to opening C&C Editions, Cole Rogers co-founded Highpoint Center for Printmaking, where he served as Artistic Director and Master Printer for 22 years. He has worked in the fine art printmaking field as a Master Printer, professional collaborative printer, teacher, curator, and artist for over 40 years.



During his exceptional career Rogers has collaborated with scores of accomplished artists, including three MacArthur Fellows — Julie Mehretu, Njideka Akunyili Crosby, and Dyani White Hawk — and Terry Allen, Jim Hodges, Willie Cole, Do Ho Suh, David Rathman, Julie Buffalohead, Hollis Sigler and Todd Norsten, among many other notable artists. Print publications created in collaboration with Rogers are found in the permanent collections of many major museums, corporations, and private collections across the US and around the globe.

Born in Alabama, Cole Rogers earned his Master Printer Certificate from the Tamarind Institute in New Mexico and holds an MFA in Printmaking from The Ohio State University. He has received Printmaker of the Year awards from the Baltimore Museum of Art and the Mid-America Print Council. Throughout his stellar career Rogers has been recognized as a leading advocate for the art of printmaking in the Twin Cities, Minnesota and beyond.

Mei Lam So
Assistant Printer & Studio Manager

Originally from Hong Kong, Mei Lam So received her MFA in Printmaking and Ceramics from the University of Iowa and her BFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In her practice, Mei examines the acculturation process of bicultural Asian immigrants; primarily working through prints to cover topics such as memory, identity, separation, and time. As an artist, Mei’s experience with printmaking has allowed her to teach and create editioned works utilizing screen printing, lithography, and intaglio. Through her new position as C&C Editions’ Assistant Printer and Studio Manager Mei aims to further her professional and personal print practice under the guidance of Master Printer, Cole Rogers.

Jennifer Phelps
Communications & Connections

C&C Editions is proud to welcome Jennifer Phelps as our Communications & Connections team member.

 

Jennifer Phelps was the Director of Burnet Fine Art & Advisory, Wayzata, MN (2017-2023) and Burnet Gallery, Minneapolis, MN (2006-2015) overseeing operations and art direction. From 2006-2015 Phelps also developed and executed a wide range of arts programs and oversaw the public art collection for Le Meridian Chambers, Minneapolis, one of the first art boutique hotels in the United States and frequently ranked as one of the top five art hotels in the world.

 

She has served on the Board of Highpoint Center for Printmaking in Minneapolis and has previously served as a Board Member for the Frederick Weisman Museum and the Associates Board, Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She was Co-Chair of the Collector’s Group, Walker Art Center, Minneapolis.

 

In her career, Phelps has been involved with projects at the Walker Art Center Archives and worked with the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Archive, University of California on the Theresa Cha archive.  She was an assistant to art dealer Steven Leiber of Steven Leiber Basement in San Francisco from 1989 to 1993. From 2008-2015, she was Director of the Foshay Museum. Phelps was the proprietor of Jennifer Case Phelps Fine Arts, Minneapolis from 1993-2000.

 

Phelps received her education from Occidental College, Los Angeles.

Carla McGrath
Marketing & Events

C&C Editions welcomes Carla McGrath as our Marketing & Events team member.


From 2001-2022 Ms. McGrath was co-founder and Executive Director of Highpoint Center for Printmaking where she managed the day-to-day operations of Highpoint including: financial management, personnel and marketing activities; grant writing and fundraising activities undertaken by the Board and staff; and design and implementation of educational and community programming.

 

Carla McGrath previously served as Art Lab Coordinator in the Department of Education and Community Programs at the Walker Art Center from 1995–2000. While at the Walker she was responsible for designing and teaching hands-on art projects with emphasis on K-12 education. McGrath holds a BA in English from Connecticut College and earned her JD from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota.

 

Her current community volunteer work includes: Board Member, East Harriet Neighborhood Association; member The Woman’s Club of Minneapolis – Community Engagement Committee; and advocate for the arts in Minnesota, local and statewide.
